Burner: Second Phone Number App Reviews

This isn’t going to work for me as you can’t give me either 250 or 778 area codes, i.e. Vancouver Island and British Columbia. USELESS.

Having a different number for business, personal, and dating would be** great, but the insane costs for such a small amount of texts that expire is going to stop me from using this app. There are cheaper and even free alternatives with all the same features. There is nothing in this service that justifies the costs.

Updated Review I really liked this app however its impossible to get a number in any local area code anymore and the app only lets you try three or four times before telling you to "try again later". Also, you have to purchase the credits before you try to get the number so its a bit of a ripoff too. Original Review My experience so far with this app has been fantastic! I buy and sell on kijiji often and this provides me a great option to phone and text buyers and sellers without having to give out my actual cell phone number. Most people on kijiji are nice normal folks, this app helps you stay secure with those occasional ones youd prefer not have your actual number.

I like to sleep around, but never want the girls knowing my number in case I knock them up. This app has saved me numerous times from having to pay alimony.

This lives up to all it should be and more its one of those tools where the user creates the depth of this app. I had no problem in Canada using this app.if there was six stars....

This app works great. I have absolutely no complaints. Do your research online and check other reviews. It does exactly as it says in the specs and is very easy to use with a good interface. Works without issue in a somewhat major city in Ontario. Highly recommended if youre looking for something like this! Update: had an issue where I couldnt get a new number for my area code, so I emailed support. They were quick to respond and they noted that they only have a certain number of phone numbers available for each area code and to keep trying. Sure enough, the next day I got one. So just a heads up to anyone who has an issue like this, keep trying. They said they are looking at getting more numbers so hopefully it doesnt always happen. Still a 5 star review in my books!

This app is a rip off after you download it u have a couple text free then their want you to pay for it i pay extra i hadcredit then tell me number will expire after i pay wtf

Thats fine but why is it advertised as free US number when its just a trial?

App wont send pics even with unlimited package . Contacted customer support and they said keep trying. No help at all. Bad app. Save money and dont use.

**works in Canada**Great product, works as advertised. Requires data for texts. Calls flow without delay and offer a wide range of area codes. Great to save on LDs. Great support. Cant complain, fair pricing too. If you say it does not have a number in your region, write to support, they are great and friendly. Sometimes you need for them to get new numbers in your area code. But sure works in many different area codes, dont listen to the winers who cant figure out how to use the app.

Perfect solution to an everyday problem! Love it!! Easy to use as well.
