I used it for car shopping. Was perfect. Now that I have bought the car, I can burn the number and not be harassed for weeks by the dealers from whom I didnt buy.

Theres alot of apps that offer you your own number in the name of extra privacy, line you can give out if you prefer your personal number but most use it to know which company is calling and why!

Thats a great app that fits all my needs in terms of "shield number" ( preventing me to give my real phone number to people that I dont want to) and for my business ! Work almost perfect!

Really good for setting up a number for study groups in college.

Burner is a great idea well executed. Get temporary phone numbers, use them for whatever, throw them away. Protect your privacy and personal accessibility. And its fun. I love burning a number, and knowing that Im not beholden to anyone who has that number.

I recently purchased a phone number from burner app for my business and everything was working fine until one day the phone number which I paid for was gone from the burner app. I contacted the burner app support team and they informed me that because of an error in their system I lost my phone number and that I cant have it back because its being used by someone else. They said that they would provide me 8 credits to my account but how is that going to help fix my business. So because of an error on their part I have to suffer and all I want is my phone number which I paid for back! Horrible Customer Service!!!!!!!

Does exactly what I need it to do. I can text people and burn the number after so they dont have my real number.

I have used this on many separate occasions and it always works flawlessly. I highly recommend it!!!

Annoying that I cant try without paying something--even more so after reading the first few pages of notes, loaded app, and then went back to confirm that it does say how much it cost...at the bottom under hundreds of lines of nonsense.
